We’re not talking crash diets here. You know they don’t really work.

Sure you may lose weight, but you’ll only put it all back on.

Rather, cut back a little bit with your eating. Make sure you’re not starving yourself.

You’re best bet with these hot beverages is to teach yourself to enjoy them without added milk or sugar.

Of course, a big salad means lots of lettuce and cabbage along with plenty of veggies such as carrots, cucumbers, celery, and tomatoes.

We’re so used to sauteing and frying foods that we think there’s no other way to cook.

It takes a little practice, but almost any dish that calls for oil or fat can be prepared without it.

There will be some instances where you’ll need to use a fat substitute in baking. For example, instead of butter in cookies, trying using apple sauce.

Tip #10: Weigh Yourself

Make a habit of weighing yourself either every day or at least once a week.

Try to do it about the same time each day. A good time would be when you first get up in the morning or when you get out of the shower.

Jot down your weight and see if it’s moving in the right direction.
